Dr. Paul's Lab was created to fulfill the need for the sustainably minded farmer and the organic community. In the late 1980's and early 90's, I basically backed into the natural world out of necessity when I had over 20 of my regular vet clients in Buffalo and Trempealeau Counties of Wisconsin convert to organic paradigm. This left me out of the picture with my bag of synthesized drugs. Thanks to my strong wife, Joan, who suggested I learn something about the old lost world. Aloe vera was my first victory, then tinctures, then botanical filled pills. I became an avid reader of old and new books.

I want to thank my farm clients for being my testing ground for new products, and being honest with the results. Personal observation is the most reliable source of truth.
